Sovereignty is the movement from living reactively to living consciously .
At its heart, sovereignty is about belonging to yourself.
A sovereign person isn't someone who controls everything or never needs anyone. It's about living from your own inner knowing instead of being driven by fear, old ways of being, or the expectations of others.
We long for sovereignty because we long to:
Trust ourselves.
Live in alignment with what truly matters to us.
Express ourselves honestly and authentically.
Set clear, loving boundaries without abandoning ourselves.
Choose relationships from a place of desire and truth, rather than obligation, approval, or people-pleasing.
Take responsibility for our own lives without carrying the weight of everyone else's.
Feel deeply rooted within ourselves while remaining open to support, love, and connection.
Sovereignty is something you feel, that you embody.
It feels grounded, present, and alive. Your energy is no longer spent bracing against life or losing yourself in it. You can stay connected to yourself while being deeply connected to others.
Sovereignty often leads to deeper intimacy. When you are no longer abandoning yourself to belong, you can truly meet another from a place of authenticity, openness, and choice.
Sovereignty is the freedom to live from your truth—to inhabit your beingness fully while staying deeply connected to yourself, others, and life.
You know the feeling. The one when…
You realize you tolerate so much less than you deserve.
You sacrifice your truth to avoid conflict.
You betray yourself to keep the peace.
You people-please your way into resentment.
You hold yourself back because you don't trust your own decisions.
And yet ask everyone but yourself what you should do.
This didn't happen by accident.
And it's not because something is wrong with you.
It's the outcome of social imprinting. Of family dynamics. Of needs that went unmet.
Of being told - directly or not - that you were too much. That your feelings were inconvenient. That love had conditions.
Because feeling rejection, humiliation, misunderstanding was unbearable, you learned to abandon yourself. Unconsciously.
You internalized what others were doing to you - and you began rejecting yourself before anyone else could.
Everything in your life: your relationships, your work, your energy, and the way people treat you, is a direct reflection of your relationship with yourself.
When you change the relationship to you, you change your relationship to everything.
What if the most radical thing you could do was finally, refuse to abandon yourself?
The one relationship that changes everything is the one you have with yourself.
When you start to gather back the parts of you that you have exiled, rejected, and made wrong.
When you stop leaking your energy into everything and everyone outside of you- you finally recieve everything you’ve been looking for.
And when you are full.
You stop looking for yourself in your partner.
In your children.
In your work.
In money.
You can just BE.
And from that place you won't create your life from lack. You'll create it from fullness.
This is Souveraine.
In this retreat, I will guide you to dive to the depths of your own ocean - to learn to sit with the discomfort, so you can unlock the treasures hidden within.
Because if you want a breath of fresh air at the bottom of the ocean, you must place it there yourself.

We serve fresh, nourishing vegetarian meals throughout the retreat.
The cuisine is colourful, wholesome, and prepared with care to support the body and the depth of the work we will be doing together. Many of the dishes are vegan and primarily gluten free.
We are happy to take allergies and dietary intolerances into account when preparing meals.
Please note that while most of the food is gluten free, bread is served in the morning. ***For people with celiac disease, there may be a risk of cross contamination as we do not have a separate toaster.
If you have specific dietary needs, you will have the opportunity to let us know when you register.
Mel is devoted to helping women return to their deepest truth. Her work lives at the intersection of embodiment, emotional honesty, and radical self-acceptance — guided by a belief that lasting change begins in the body.
Through movement, somatic practices, and courageous self-inquiry, she supports people in releasing the old ways of being that keep them small and disconnected from their power.
Rooted in Core Energetics and years of personal and professional exploration, Mel creates spaces that are both deeply warm and powerfully transformative — places to soften the armor, reconnect with inner wisdom, and remember who you are beneath the roles, the conditioning, and the pressure to be someone else.
